Shipping & Returns

Johnson Hardware Products ordered from this site will ship from Elkhart, Indiana USA. Some accessories can be shipped from 3rd party vendors. Indiana and California residents are required to pay 7% and 7.25% respectively state sales tax. MOST ORDERS THAT SHIP USPS ARE PREPARED FOR SHIPMENT WITHIN 1 WEEK. MOST ORDERS THAT SHIP UPS/FEDEX ARE PREPARED FOR SHIPMENT WITHIN 3-7 BUSINESS DAYS FROM ORDER RECEIPT. MOST ORDERS THAT CONTAIN OVERSIZED ITEMS OR LARGE LTL SHIPMENTS ARE PREPARED WITHIN 1-3 WEEKS OF ORDER RECEIPT. The shipment method (Ground, Overnight, 2nd day air etc...) applies to the transit time only, order preparation time must be added to the transit time to determine overall delivery time. Shipment tracking numbers are automatically transmitted to customers when orders ship. Orders are not shipped on weekends or holidays.

 

 Shipping Conditions

  • Free US Contiguous Lower 48 State Ground Shipping for orders containing non-oversized* items valued over $250.
  • US Contiguous Lower 48 States orders valued under $600 that contain an oversized** item will incur a LTL Freight Charge.
  • All US contiguous Lower 48 States oversized** item orders valued over $600 ship free.
  • Freight service to a Commercial Dock or Residential Curbside only.
  • Canadian orders containing non-oversized items ship using standard FexEx or UPS services at standard calculated rates.
  • Canadian customers are responsible for all Canadian Tax, Brokerage, Customs and Duty fees applied to the shipment. 

*Non-oversized items are items that do not exceed 106" in length and CAN be shipped using standard shipping services such as FedEx or UPS.

**Oversized items are items that CANNOT be shipped using standard shipping services such as FedEx or UPS and must be sent using a common carrier service, i.e. a large freight truck. Typical oversized items are Track Lengths and Pocket Door Frames exceeding 106" in length. Freight service to a Commercial Dock or Residential Curbside only.

 

Returns

All goods being returned for credit MUST have prior written authorization that specifies the exact items being returned, quantities involved and the condition of goods. Credit for returns will be applied to the credit card used for the original order. Goods are to be returned to us FREIGHT PREPAID and will be subject to a 25% handling, inspection and restocking charge. No credit will be issued on items after 60 days from purchase date.

 

Missing Items/Freight Damage

Please use common sense and INSPECT YOUR VALUABLE ORDER AS SOON AS YOU RECEIVE IT. If you find out we've sent you an incorrect item, omitted an item or witness any type of freight damage, please e-mail us and let us know within 48 hours of order receipt and we'll make it right. We will not honor refund request for missing, incorrect items or freight damage after the 48 hour customer order/shipment inspection period.

LTL SHIPMENTS - DO NOT sign for (or take possession of) any freight damaged (visible or concealed) LTL shipment, refuse delivery and contact us @ sales@johnsonhardware.com with your order number and relevant details. Johnson Hardware nor the freight company will be responsible for any damaged product signed for and received by the customer.
