NOTE: Hole patterns in the Johnson hanger will be different than the old hanger. Fill door holes with putty or Plastic-Wood and refinish as desired.

1832 REPLACEMENT TOP GUIDE

1. Check top track and pivots, replace if bent or damaged with Johnson 1700 Track and Hardware.

2. Remove door from opening.

3. Remove old guide from door.

4.Select proper pivot post, either 3/8" (smaller), or 7/16" (larger). Use same size pivot post as is currently in the door. Note: If smaller 3/8" pivot post does not fit snugly, drill a 7/16" hole and use larger pivot post.

5. Select proper head to fit track.

6. Firmly press new guide head onto new guide post on pivot.

7. Tap new guide, with proper head into hole in top door edge.

8. Rehang door.

INSTRUCTIONS FOR INSTALLING UNIVERSAL SNUBBER IN FOLDING DOOR TRACKS

Select proper parts to fit your particular brand of folding door track. Two-door installations normally use short spring, four-door the long. (If too light, use 1-1/2" long spring for four doors). Snap spring into plastic retainer and press into track.
